I know, its a tragic love story this year for Valentines Day. What can I say? Its not all hearts and roses and it feels appropriate this year from me since I'm in one of my somber moods currently.
You won't believe how OLD this project is though. I started it BEFORE HTTYD2 came out! Yeah, when I saw that 2nd trailer for the movie with Stoick seeing Valka for the first time, my mind screamed: "ROSE'S THEME, MY HEART WILL GO ON!!!"
Now originally, this was just gonna be a rescore with the "Rose" theme from Titanic by James Horner (Which pretty much is the instrumental of "My Heart Will Go On") and it fit almost perfectly from 0:23-1:36 with only the slightest tweaking, just like I envisioned. I think its by far one of the most heavenly scores ever composed, it is so freakin beautiful!
But then I decided I wanted to include some of Celine Dion's lyrics since it seemed so perfect and I was only gonna make 1 vid. Thats one big reason this has been delayed for 3 years cause I had the hardest time merging the audio smoothly. (Plus the song is just notorious for copyrights so I knew there would be trouble).
I am bewildered that after 3 years, STILL no one (that I've found) has thought of this video combination. I just knew someone would beat me to it in 2014 but nope! Must just be me, but the similarities between the 2 tragic romances is so obvious: I mean, both men die in ICE after a very short romance n dance together. Didn't that strike any one else as ironic? Seriously no one can tell me otherwise that this song is the Stalka anthem!
I had to be careful not to make it too terribly long though cause its not like I have a plethora of scenes between Stoick & Valka to choose from. Thats one reason why I didn't want to use the full song - one chorus would suffice. In fact, by the time I was done I only had 2 clips left, lol! So this vid is very slow and mellow which is not really my style but I'm rather happy with it considering. I've been meaning for 3 years to pay tribute to their relationship on Valentines Day and I finally succeeded!! No go blow your noses and dry your eyes, ahehe. Happy Valentines Day!!! :)

✎ Surprise! Im back with a new video! 😀
Im a little late to the Puss in Boots edits. I started this video last year but then my job at Disney happened, and I had to take a hiatus from editing for awhile. Told ya Id be back eventually 😉
Anywho, I really LOVED this movie and wanted to finish at least one vid with it. This is a much more challenging editing style I was eager to try with the audio/SFX mixing and transitions. I really had fun though! Every frame of this movie is just gorgeous.
I got inspired by all the cool vids people were making with Death, particularly @HadesCaveAri (Check them out!!!!!)
Even though Im not really a Halloween person, or do vids for the day, this seemed to fit the mood, so here we are, I hope you enjoy!
No sure when or what my next vid will be. I wanted to do something with Wish but I cant yet. 😅

It may be slightly belated by now but, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Mirka!! I wanted to do something nice for you like with Zootopia since we both love it so, but all I had was this Highlight Reel of RTTE ready to go and I had to TRY and be punctual. Oh my goodness, it took me forever to come up with this for the latest batch or RTTE eps. Usually I upload something within a few days of its release like the last two times but I was just plain busy this round.
I also could not decide on a good song. Ironically, first I had chosen: Chasing the Sun by The Wanted that was in Ice Age 4 but I just wasnt inspired to work with it now. I even started it but nothing was there motivating me to keep going. I dont think it fit with the new eps either. So I started hunting for a new song. This one is actually the song CookieDashz made a HTTYD vid for me & DreamDust for our b-day last year. (Hope you dont mind me using it for RTTE!)

I loved this song and when I heard it again it generated the spark for me to make a vid. I was desperate, so here we are! I cut sections of the song so its slightly different too. Thats what took me even longer because I kept lengthening the song to use more clips!
Then it also took me longer just to GET the clips. Since I dont have Netflix I have other sources for watching the series and they were late getting them this time. Plus the quality wasnt up to its usual standard so I had to also hunt for the eps. Finally found em in 1080p and took days more converting them but....ITS ALL DONE!!
Now I can enjoy the season. I think my favorites were Buffalord Soldier, Stryke Out, and A Grim Retreat, oh and anyone of them with Heather, especially Tone Death and Family on the Edge (AW, I loved her in those!) I think I need to make a Hiccstrid vid - the FEELS are overpowering me now too!! =D
