Merry Christmas Everyone!! =D

As you can see, I am exactly 1 week early! How about that? And its a good thing too, since I will not be exactly home, on my desktop PC that has ALL my projects on it, for Christmas or that entire week, so its worked out. Though I *might* throw a little something else for you fellow editors/friends for Christmas on my laptop...assuming it doesn't conflict to terribly bad with the B-day/New Years plans that'll probably get set back some.

This definitely feels like one of those vids that only I would come up with because its so....so....whats the word - corny? Funny thing is with these silly little vids I come up with now and then, like "Get Off of My Back" or "Jolene", they always turn out to be the most fun. I had a BLAST doing it again with the little saint nick to Hiccup and the Berkian world, hehe! I know it doesn't pair to this song in the best way, but I was still surprised at how well SOME parts came together; I just have to point out one part at 0:38 with the Bobsled. The fact that Hiccup (and Astrid) Bob-sledded...."on a guy named Bob", to go with the lyrics, totally made my day for this project. *dies of laughter* And for the first time in forever, I got to use those Olympic/TV-spot, thingys for HTTYD, that utterly sealed my insanity for this Christmas video, muhaha!! So its suppose to be funny; can I get some laughs people? (I hope you catch some of my humor here, in/with the vid. *winks* :)

This is actually, if you can believe it, one of my very very favorite holiday classics song! Its just not the holiday season till I hear it on the radio or something. I guess it puts me in the Christmas spirits....and I like the Beach Boys too. (Just to throw that out there.) I used to always call it the "Coke-a-Cola Song" because once upon a time ago it was a part of the first Coke commercials I would see with the polar bears in 2005. (Their 10th one) I loved it when I was a kid!

So I don't care what anyone says about this thing of mine this time, I LIKE IT, and ♥ making it! xD

I tried to make up for the goofiness with some decorations, ̶i̶f ̶a̶n̶y̶o̶n̶e ̶n̶o̶t̶i̶c̶e̶d. Such as the borders, red n green flashes, snowflakes, and a little santa hat for my signature. Donno why everyone wears em around the virtual world on their avatars but I thought I better look festive too! (; The lighting always comes out a little dark though. My apologies! I swear it looks better on my media player...IDK why YT makes mine so dark.

This was technically supposed to be my Christmas vid last year as well, but I barely made a dent in it then since it was a pretty rough end of the year, year. Not that this one has been any easier; its definitely been a biggy for me thats for sure. My original Christmas plans I would have liked to have done this year was going to be much more dynamic, but I thought I better finish this one this year since our little Hiccup is no longer little any longer. Also tried to focus mostly on Gift of the Night Fury too, but I couldn't resist a few snow scenes from HTTYD 2. I still can't believe there is more ice than fire in a dragon's sequel. Me like-y. :)

And as I lightly glossed over in the beginning of this description: to anyone still daring to read this far down of the description - I will be working over the holidays. Actually, I'll be dog-sitting...so I won't be on my feet all the time, you could say. *LOL* I could really say its more like a vacation since I'll be staying in a fully-furnished house with four of the sweetest little dogs in the world, all to myself. Even though I'm an only child, its still pretty nice and exciting, aha! I'm so used to being home alone anyway....sure thats what I'll be watching while I'm at it. (But its close to home, thankfully.) Best part is, I might get to bring my dog, April, with me. Couldn't have a Christmas without her! =)

OH and did I forget to mention I'm out for the semester? Yeah, I finished Dec.8th!! Three days early too since I got all my work done. Whew, I'm so relieved that first semester is over....you have no idea how long I've feared that first day, first week, first month, first EVERYTHING in college. But I made it out in one piece, learned quite a bit and can honestly say I liked it....most of the time. Hallelujah for Christmas break though!! ;)
