Call this a part of the reply to your PM last Saturday. It gave me the motivational boost to finish the last .30 secs of the song and add the final touches over the weekend. I've gone into before from last year's birthday present about meeting you and how talking with you had a tremendous influence on me, spiritually mostly, so I'll just pick up from where I left off in saying its only grown in admiration and respect in our friendship. Thank you for your encouragement, for all your advice you've offered on my behalf, and for simply being that Christian light to me! Its made a difference over the year; even through our absence or personal inner struggles we privately try and repress. If any good is meant to come out of our issues is that they have united our friendship and brought us together even stronger then before, in good Christian love ^_^

I promised I wouldn't forget you my friend, hehe! This is the first birthday present I've gotten to do for you. Since you and Glory are similar in depth and style in your own respective works I decided to adjoin them back in January. I wanted to also show my gratitude to you as well for your prayers and for simply being there for me back in early November. Well what can I say? I wanted to make something for you too, hehe! Even though I didn't get you in the dedication inside the vid, I want you to know its still made with you in mind! Its a another rather delayed expression of my gratitude for the dedication vid you made for me and to show how much I enjoy our talks, in getting to know you as a true friend over these past 3 months. I've been blessed every week by them and you, so THANK YOU Heir xD

We all know how much you, especially Glory, have a DEEP regard for Hiccup and his character, so, the focus on this video was geared solely toward him. In his humble yet heroic nature, and through that following into his relationships with Toothless, Astrid, and Stoick. I know you iVishu, love visual depth and VO so those were for you! And you Glory, love grunge textures, additive dissolves, and fonts, so those were with you in mind. Then finally for you, Heir, were the verses! (=
Guess your wondering why it took me 2-3 months to make this. Well, I feel I owe ya a fully honest explanation: this time all those ideas set some pretty high expectations that I kept envisioning in this vid, and the more I did, the less I feared it was not going to come out like I'd hoped. It was getting to the point where I was dreading opening up my editor, (And that is so out of character for me). I had a good friend though remind me, not to let "perfect" be the enemy of good. So I started again, doing what I was able to apply and simply, let go of all the ideas holding me back that were apparently beyond my know how.
The idea of it being just HTTYD didn't last too long cause I NEEDED all the clips I could get with my style. (Plus I was rather eager to edit with DoB since I haven't much yet). But then that caused another issue: since I was virtually crawling in my progress on this vid for so long, and working on anther very similar one (Yes, I haven't forgotten your B-day btw! You know who you are.) I started to get confused in all the clips; forgetting which one I had used in which vid. When I got to the end of this vid over the weekend, I discovered I had 8 repeated scenes! *Ouch* So I replaced them; leaving 1 since I liked the way it paralleled. (Decided to bend the rules a little there; see if you can spot it!) If theres still another one I apologies; guess I've watched it so many times that I'm blinded to it by now. This took 5 bloody long hours to render! I never had to wait so long, lol! Plus as you can see, it came out pixelated in spots! (Vegas, why do you do that to me? Whaa!) I tried going through another 5 hour session but it didn't make much of a difference. Including the upload, this baby took 11 hrs and 23 mins in all to render. *Not kidding* Such torture, but all in all I'd say it was worth it!
And this is off the record but, I am going to say I'm kinda proud how it turned out, despite everything; I hope you enjoy it my faithful friends!! *bear hugs!* (=
