In this video, I show how to temporarily obtain and keep a Unique Driller Trailer after the mission "Driller".
To do this for new gen (all versions), your only option is to break trailer off from Packer after passing the mission. The switch thing shown in the video will NOT work, it only works for all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. After you manage to break trailer off from Packer, you can tow it around. For new gen, this Driller trailer can ONLY be towed with a Packer, so you must find a Packer from nearby roads to use the trailer. Phantom and Hauler will NOT tow it. You can also NOT detach it like you can for old gen, you always need to break it off if you want to change trucks.
I always liked playing around as a realistic truck driver in V free roam. But there is nothing more satisfying with this than towing UNIQUE trailers. After "Driller", you have the opportunity to keep a 6-wheel Driller Trailer. There are no other such 6-wheel trailers in the game. What is more, this is basically the best form of Driller you can own in this game.
Now, in before anyone asks: you can NOT use that Driller by ramming it off and driving it or smth. It is a SOLID prop which is a part of the trailer, exactly like all supercars on Devin's car trailer. They are not even unjackable, they are props, like a tree, lamp post, or a reverse light of a Phantom. Still cool, imo.
Trailer is kept on map UNTIL you save your game and reload it. You can drive across the map, switch trucks, trailer will still be left where you last used it. They can NOT be saved in any kind of garage.
