Time Stamps:
00:00 - Wasting CJ and failing "End of the Line" whilst obtaining the AP (All Proof) Fire Truck
10:20 - Proving the AP Properties and showing off the AP Fire Truck
This Method will work EXACTLY as shown on PS2, Xbox, PC, Mobile, and Definitive Edition since all of these Platforms/Versions allow the Method shown in the Video.
Before you begin, you will need a Parachute as it's the only way to destroy the AP Fire Truck. You should also have LOW Health so the explosion from the Fire Truck kills CJ in the process.
Note that you may want to have Katie as a Girlfriend before doing this so you don't lose your Weapons when CJ is wasted.
Know that this new Method isn't as easy as you see in the Video. You really have limited time to drive the Feltzer into the water and in most cases, traffic will get in your way messing up timing or you'll get stuck on the little lip you need to drive over so the Feltzer has any chance to get into the water in the first place. I used a location a bit further away, but there is two other locations that you can drive into the water. It's all about timing of when you catch Sweet and where you are on the road. I caught him later than I wanted to, thus resulting in one location to drive it into the water as I already passed the first two locations you can do that.
The Hanger is likely the safest place to destroy the AP Fire Truck in, and then once you obtain it, move it out of there to another Garage or Impound. For the Video, though, I shown the CLOSEST Garage to store it in and where it'll fit. That would be the Verdant Bluffs/El Corona Garage.
Don't think you're clever by driving it into the Los Santos Impound and destroying it in there thinking it'll restore itself. If you do this, it's not going to be there. In fact, everything in the Impound will be deleted by doing that. I tried that a while ago.
It's possible to obtain the AP/EC2 Feltzer together with the AP Fire Truck but it's NOT saving you a Mission Attempt. For instance, End of the Line is actually split up into TWO Sections. Section 1 is the Crack Palace and making your way through it and out of it. Section 2 is chasing Tenpenny's Fire Truck. The moment you reach the outside of the Crack Palace, the game makes a checkpoint here and each time you begin the Mission again, it DOES NOT ADD any extra Mission Attempts from that point forward and you begin on Section 2. You have to make it out of the Crack Palace to obtain the AP/EC2 Feltzer, right? So wouldn't it be best to obtain it first and create this checkpoint, then obtain the AP Fire Truck after the checkpoint was made and NO extra Mission Attempt will come after? Yeah, exactly. Be smart. In case you want to see it done, here it is - youtube.com/watch?v=wvnAct5JJNo - It's really stupid, because it's impossible to start the Mission from the very beginning and get both Special Vehicles. Why? Game removes your Parachute and gives you Thermal Goggles inside of the Crack Palace to make your escape. You need a Parachute for the AP Fire Truck and you can't abandon the AP/EC2 Feltzer wreck, or it vanishes. In other words, you CAN'T even obtain both of them, until the game creates the checkpoint after leaving the Crack Palace. Facts.
Here is the AP/EC2 Feltzer together with the AP Fire Truck, but this time, it uses OM0, which avoids the Wasted Stat for the AP Fire Truck - youtube.com/watch?v=Q9d3PKrkJMY
There is a handful of INFERIOR Special Vehicles in this Mission like the EP/FP Police, EP/FP Sanchez, EP/FP Tornado, and DP/EP/FP/MP/EC2 Feltzer and they all use OM0.
