Today I’m participating in a 1960s dinner collaboration. 1960s my mom used to make me a dish called Grecco. It is such comfort food and brings back so many memories of my mom. This dish is simple to make and it’s perfect for those cold winter nights. Enjoy!

Vintage 1960s Grecco
2 large onions, chopped
2 green peppers, chopped
2 cups shell macaroni or bow tie pasta
2 15oz cans tomato sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
1 can creamed corn
1 lb ground beef or turkey
8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Sauté onions and green pepper in 1 tablespoon oil
Brown ground meat
Mix all ingredients together
Pour into casserole dish and top with cheese
Bake aT 350 F for 30-40 minutes
