A flash poll by the Federation of Small Businesses has found the majority of respondents have experienced a negative early impact from the Treaty.

Most respondents were from the retail sector.

Half said they had seen no noticeable change in overall sales and were feeling less optimistic about the future.

The main areas of concern were customs, freight and border-related disruption.
