Unite is considering approaching Government and other employers in Gibraltar to help find local jobs for the 32 NatWest International employees facing redundancy.

The bank is offering redeployment opportunities, but all of the positions currently available are in the UK.

Burt Unite's Donovan Correia told our reporter Kevin Ruiz that many of the affected staff want to stay in Gibraltar, and that he believes their skills could be of use to other employers locally.
