Next Wednesday 12th of August, a partial solar eclipse will be viewable from Gibraltar just before sunset. 

At its peak, 93% of the sun will be obscured in what is sure to be an impressive display.

Teacher and Astrophysicist, Michael Neish was on Gibraltar today looking ahead to next week as well as to a historical total eclipse in a year's time.

GBC will be broadcasting live from Camp Bay next Wednesday during an extended news programme.
