I'm not saying you would, but should you wish to get out of a phone call, you could just swipe down to get Control Centre and tap on Airplane Mode. Now, I know you know that obviously ends the call. But what's key is the other person. What they see is “Call Failed” instead of “Call Ended”. Use responsibly.
