If you’re using your iPhone to write one-handed, this might be useful. With the keyboard up on screen, press and hold on the globe icon at bottom left. Your list of keyboard languages may well be different to mine, but you definitely have those three icons at the bottom. Tap on the left to get this squashed up keyboard to one side, tap on the right to have it on the other side, or tap in the middle to return to normal.
