This worked for me for about 20 minutes, see if it helps you. Right now with Siri AI in CarPlay will offer to save Apple Music tracks to a playlist, but then won’t. It turns out that you can hide your playlists from Siri and I’ve not one thin clue why you would, or why that would be the default. Go to an Apple Music playlist, tap the ellipses button at top right, then Edit. Turn on “Show in my Profile and in Search”. That fixed this for me, for one time.
