This is Stützpunkt 180 “Schwarztal” at Noirbernes, home to Railway Battery E 765. Two 28 cm K5 railway guns once stood here, aimed toward the English Channel as part of the planned invasion of Britain. The tracks and firing platforms have disappeared, but the massive ammunition bunkers still stand as impressive reminders of the site’s wartime role.
