The wait is finally over and Garten of Banban 8 has been released. It is the longest development cycle yet for the Euphoric Brothers and it shows, because this chapter is by far their best game yet. The intro and first 15 minutes of this game are so cool and atmospheric. I was immediately sucked back into this world and could not wait to see where it would go next.
There are plenty of new characters and enemies to meet and we go to many different places including a mysterious village and an abandoned medical facility. The game continues its premise of chapter 7 with that Garten of Banban now feels more like an adventure game which I love. There are still minigames like twists on memory games, but in general you will be exploring, talking to people and solving puzzles by using enviromental items.
This also does not include the drone again and I think that is fine. The drone gameplay has been done in so many chapters that it feels natural to have it at a minimum and put the adventure part of Banban's universe to the forefront. We have come a long way from the first chapter of Banban and I could not be more proud of what the Euphoric Brothers have developed in all those many months.
