We are reworking the Village of Grapevine on the F-scale garden railroad at Garagemahal. The village was built over four years ago and has gone through several reworks. This time we are adding another building, more scenery, sidewalks, and a total rethink of the building lights.

The railroad is number 1 gauge, 1 3/4' gauge (45mm) often called "G" gauge and we mostly run F scale (1:20.3 scale) but also G scale (1:22.5 scale) and 1/2" scale trains. The structures at Grapevine are mostly 1:22.5 scale but there is also a 1/2" scale store and 1:20 scale building fronts and automobiles. So the intent is a fun blending of a mixture of things set on a shelf in a grape trellis that produces well over 100 pounds (45 Kg) of Concord grapes yearly.

While the village is a great feature on the layout, as Walt Disney would say, "Let's pluss that" (improve). So we are adding a grassy hill, a public toilet, wood sidewalks, and a big improvement. a new lighting system with better-looking lights.
