Eliminating blocking code and the redundant use of Arduino’s ADC …

In the previous video we’ve simplified the state machine and code responsible for identifying the motor driver beep codes (link below). Today we’ll do some housekeeping and eliminate two pieces of code that might be blocking.
First we come up with a new, non-blocking way to detect if we’re running on USB or battery power, which also uses less hardware. Then we modify our beep code detection accordingly, removing another piece of blocking code.
