Detecting the ready beep and distinguishing it from error beeps …

Last week we routed the beeper output of the motor to an input of our Arduino, looked at the ready beep on the scope, and recorded the edges of the signal with some code (link below). Now it’s time to distinguish the ready beep from others.

After a short recap we have a look at a state machine that can discriminate between ready beeps and others. In between we implement USB power vs external power detection. Finally we go over the code for the state machine and test it.
