Michael Nixon was a troubled teenager living on the streets when he met Hare Krishna devotees preaching peace through their spirituality and lifestyle. He immediately joined up, and became deeply involved with their worship and the spread of their message.
However, when he got arrested for drug trafficking, he found that the prayers and mantras from his Hare Krishna world were no longer a source of peace for him. Instead, he began to find peace from something unexpected: the Christian prayers and Psalms he had been taught ages ago by his grandmother.
Today, he's a deacon in the Catholic Church, serving in Florida -- and his son ended up becoming a priest!
