Some Christians reject the celebration of Easter, thinking it to be an observance copied from pagan religion. Others who celebrate the event prefer to use a different term for it, such as "Resurrection Day."

But is Easter really a pagan holiday?

Dr. Matthew Wiseman used to shy away from the idea of Easter because of the way he heard people discuss it when he was in the Hebrew Roots Movement. He shares how learning the true history of Easter helped open him up to learning about other aspects of Christian history that he'd misunderstood over the years.
