Shortly after becoming Catholic, Derek Rotty was introduced to the ancient Christian practice of Lectio Divina, or "Divine Reading," an immersive form of prayer that invites believers to slowly and intentionally absorb passages from Scripture to discern what God might be saying to them.

In Derek's experience of Lectio Divina, sometimes a single word or phrase from a single verse of the Bible can be a launch point for incredible depths of reflection; which should come as no surprise to Christians who know the Word of God to be an inexhaustible font of wisdom and truth.
