These Air Fryer Fried Pickles are so crunchy and delicious. I am a huge lover of fried pickles. That is the one thing I go for at the fair, so being able to make them at home and healthier (because they are not deep fried) is AWESOME!
Air Fryer Fried Pickles
Ingredients
16 oz. jar of dill pickle chips
1 - 1.5 C Panko Bread Crumbs
1/2 C Flour
1 tsp. Cajun Seasoning (I love Slap ya Mama seasoning)
1 Egg
Directions
1. First, drain your jar of pickles and lay all of the pickle chips flat in a single layer on paper towels. Pat them dry, making sure to get all of the excess liquid off of them.
2. Set them aside and measure out the flour and Cajun seasoning in a shallow dish. In a separate dish whisk your egg. In a third dish put the panko breadcrumbs.
3. Turn on the Air Fryer to 390° and allow to preheat while you get the pickles ready.
4. Dip each pickle into the flour, then egg, and lastly the panko. Press the panko breadcrumbs on pretty good.
5. Once you have enough for your first batch, spray the air fryer basket and put the pickles in, in a single layer. Spray the tops and air fry for 7-10 minutes, until golden and crispy. Continue in batches until they are all cooked.
6. Serve with ranch or your favorite dipping sauce.
