Because of bad packing my clock. I ended up with some broke out pieces in the beveled glass. This clock is a very heavy French clock I have been wanting for a while and the price was right on this clock so I bought it. Once I got it cleaned and oiled including the barrel spring, the clock runs great now.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not sucring the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were layed to rest out in the garage or barn and I ecsept the challange of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
