I Have a couple of bad 60 watt LED bulbs and decided to take one apart to see how they are made and if it is possible to remove good LED's from a defective LED Bulb . I covered the bulb with a rag and crushed the round globe part in the bench vice and pried out the disk with the LED's on it . Then I scraped off the paint next to the LED I wanted to remove next I cut into the disk on each side of that LED with a Mini grinder and Cutting disk . I broke a couple of cutting disks doing this the secret is go slow and gentle while cutting . I made 2 cuts one on each side of the desired LED then cut part way through the LED disk circuit board behind that LED . Next was grabbing the LED I wanted with long nose pliers at the edge of the circuit board DO NOT grab right on the LED itself it will break grab the circuit board outside the LED on the outer edge as shown in the video . NOTE ! WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND A RESPIRATOR when doing this .
