F.O.G Red Oak (Pin Oak likely) Live-edge Bowl. First live-edge. Had to fill in worm screw hole on the bottom after uncovering the red sparring and wanting to keep it.

Heat fractures checking showed up while working - filled with Starbond CA glue. Filled Worm Screw hole with turned off cut of another wood. Sanded to 600 grit outside. Finished with blue dyed ‘shine juice’. Cleaned up with Ack’s abrasive paste and Carnuba Polishing Paste.

Final dimensions - 3-3/4 inches tall (at tallest) and 7-3/4 outside diameter.

$Turned Rosewood Pill Box Small rosewood bowl blank, cut in half to expose more ‘decorative’ features. Heat fractures showed up along grain lines while coring - filled with black Starbond CA glue. Sanded to 600 grit outside and 320 grit inside and base. Finished with red dyed ‘shine juice’. Cleaned up with Ack’s abrasive paste and Carnuba Polishing Paste. Final dimensions - 5-5/32 inches tall, 2-5/32 outside diameter, 1-5/8 inches inside diameter.$
