A little more than a century ago, there were two "towns" located south of Ludlow in the Mojave Desert along the Bagdad-Chase Road: Ragtown and Stedman.
Both were built on mining. One was a company town, with strict rules banning alcohol and other forms of "entertainment." The other, well it was called Ragtown for a reason.
In this video we head down the old Bagdad Chase Road into the desert, and try and see what's left of the two settlements and the area's mining history.
