This clock I bought from GW and I didn't realize how bad the rust was on the clock. I got the alarm clock cheap enough and bought it Only because of the Brass color and thought it would be a nice show piece. Took some time to get the movement out, oiled the clock and shined up the exterior of the clock and looks good enough for who it's for. The clock is up and running again for some more years to come.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
