A potentially significant severe weather outbreak is becoming increasingly likely late this week into the weekend. SPC has outlined Enhanced Risks (level 3/5) for Friday and Saturday across a broad swath of the US from the Midwest to the Southeast, with the severe threat continuing into Sunday across the Eastern Seaboard. The potential for multiple rounds of severe weather exists, including a risk for strongly tornadic supercells, particularly on Saturday across the Southeast.
