South African-born Hazel Brooks (September 8, 1924 – September 18, 2002) had a brief film career, many of her roles were uncredited. She did, however, make very memorable appearances in two film noirs, "Body And Soul" (1947) and "Sleep My Love" (1948). After retiring from films, the former model became a successful photographer.
