Ann Sheridan (February 21, 1915 – January 21, 1967) isn't necessarily remembered for the films she made in the film noir genre, but she appeared in some very interesting ones, and while she wasn't a femme fatale in them, she represented the sometimes ambigious or at times questionable female protagonists who made a misstep or whose beauty became an obsession for men. She died too young, but she had a very long career, beginning as a teenager in the 1930s and she is most remembered for her time at Warner Brothers, where she appeared alongside actors such as James Cagney, John Garfield, George Raft, and Humphrey Bogart, just to name a few.
