Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection

Deep in the Lunar depths the group finds the King and Queen of the Eidolons, however they are still under the control of the Mysterious Girl.
The first thing I do is go back and snag the Moonring Blade I completely passed by in the previous segment. I don't know why I just walked past it, I knew it was there, I just didn't think to go get it.
Make sure you have Rydia with you in this part, while I'm not 100% certain that she's required to obtain these two summons, I would rather be safe than sorry. They are both completely optional as well, I believe, since you can just simply walk through to the next area, but you'd be skipping by one of the better summons available.
Much like all the other fights we've been through before, these function almost exactly like they did in the original game. However, Leviathan will not give any warning to when he uses Tidal Wave, and Asura will counter attack every time you target her with something.
For Leviathan, the best strategy I found is to slow him, cast shell on your team, and go ham with Thundaga and your best attacks/bands. Just keep an eye on your health as his Blizzaga spell and Tidal Wave both carry some decent damage to them.
Once you defeat him Rydia will regain her ability to summon him and you get a very nice whip as a reward.
Asura will be a bit different. Slow her, then cast Reflect on her. This will cause her Curaga spell to bounce to your party which will be handy. Next you want to get Blink up on your team by casting the spell or using Decoys. Once you've done that she will be pretty much helpless since her attacks will whiff and her attempts to heal herself will bounce to you. If you took on Leviathan first, use his summon for some great damage output, otherwise you'll either have to use a different summon, or cast reflect on one of your team members and bounce spells at her.
Also don't get too hasty with your attacks, make sure that if she knocks blink off one of your members that you recast it as soon as possible since her attacks do hurt quite a bit depending on which head she chooses when she attacks.
Once she is defeated, Rydia will regain the ability to summon her, and you'll also be rewarded with a Minerva Bustier.
Before you continue on I highly recommend going back and making sure that Cecil, Rosa, Ceodore, and Golbez is in your team. The fifth member can be whomever you wish, but be sure those four are in your team otherwise some bad things will go down.
