The Legend of Dragoon

The party make their way to the Tower of Flanvel to stop Lloyd and save Queen Theresa.
After progressing through the maze of teleporters in the tower we finally get to face off in a winnable fight against Lloyd, however he doesn't make it easy.
Before you enter the last teleporter, you can make this battle five times easier by equipping two of your party members with Talismans and use Lloyd's battle script against him.
Lloyd has a few tricks up his sleeve in this fight that are a pain. The first being his special where he summons four giant pillars and hits the entire party with a magic attack that deals some heavy damage, also he uses some spells which can also do some moderate damage as well. His third attack, the one we'll be using to make this battle a bit easier, is an instant KO attack that he will only use when a character is in dragoon form.
For this fight, buff up your party then have one of the characters with Talismans change into dragoon form. This will cause Lloyd to mostly use his instant death attack on them which will miss thanks to the Talisman. He won't do this all the time, but it will give you a chance to get some damage in and heal if you need to.
Once that character's SP runs out have the second character with a Talisman equipped transform, this will make Lloyd focus on them while you build up the first character's SP back up and have them ready to transform again when the other character's SP is depleted.
Just keep switching back and forth with those two characters in Dragoon Form while dealing damage to Lloyd and healing when you need to and you should have this fight in the bag.
