Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection

As another crystal shatters, the Archfiend of Fire emerges and Edge steps up to the challenge.
Apologies for the short video and late upload. Have a lot going on and wasn't able to get a lot of time to record over the weekend.
The battle with Rubicante can be done in two different ways: One way is with the entire party, and if you have Edge in the party, you can choose to allow Edge to fight him alone.
If you chose to fight with Edge alone, you will get a reward for your victory, if not you won't get anything.
Fighting with Edge alone is a breeze if you have some Hermes Sandles, and Lunar/Light Curtains, can also throw in a Spider Silk as well to speed things up.
Rubicante's pattern is the same as it was in the original game. While his cloak is closed he will absorb ice magic, and while it's open he will absorb fire. Also he will counter any attack with Firaga when his cloak is closed (which is why we use a light/lunar curtain).
Keep an eye out for his Inferno spell as well, this spell can't be reflected, and will deal some decent damage to you.
Once you deal enough damage, he will cast Inferno on himself and end the fight.
In the next segment we'll continue on, as we have a lot more floors to pass.
