Went out to St. Johns on Saturday to get a better video of this Model 3, since my recording on Leap Day was botched as they tested early, and by the time I started the cameras it was already a minute into the test. This time, they tested about 8 minutes late, and luckily I had both cameras rolling. It was pretty loud for its size and covers the small village nicely, but it wasn't super loud either. I believe the holes in the bottom part of the housing are due to rust but I'm not sure.
This siren, unlike the other sirens that test weekly in Auglaize County, tests for 3 minutes of attack as I believe this is a siren used for fire calls as it is located at a volunteer fire station.
And yes, this is a Model 3, as it says so on the ID tag. The siren was repainted to this grey color a few years ago.
Sirens in certain parts of Auglaize County (presumably all sirens except for Wapakoneta and St. Marys) are tested every Saturday at noon.
