Drama, InMotion School of Dance and Josh & Elizabeth Tindall -- “Brethren Voices” shares the stories of the 234th recorded Annual Conference of the Church of the Brethren. This “gathering” was held virtually, on ZOOM and viewed in this country and numerous other lands that have been drawn to the Church of the Brethren. -- This second program featuring segments of the worship services, shares some of the music and drama of the Brethren conference. John Jones, first-time-delegate to an annual conference, shares his thoughts and perspective as a delegate from the Pacific Northwest District of the Church of the Brethren.
Paul Mundey, Moderator of the Annual Conference stated, “It is my prayer that God’s divine decibel will captivate us, invading our apprehension, stirring us to trek onward—nevertheless—toward God’s new creation in Jesus. The conference theme: “God’s Adventurous Future,” according to the moderator, “implies that our future is not uneventful, but, is marked by rigorous peaks, rushing currents and deep valleys! Thus, there is challenge in the journey that, in all honesty, can be unsettling, even anxiety-producing.
This edition of Brethren Voices includes segments of the drama of Jesus walking on the water by Chelsea Goss Skillen and Tyler Goss. Dancers of the InMotion School of Dance, Harrisonburg, VA are also featured as well as the music of Josh and Elizabeth Tindall.
