This encounter is considerably more difficult than the others in the early stages of the game. There are two horn blowers (that I didn't really even know were an enemy) that will call in reinforcements if not killed stealthily. Well, I didn't kill them through stealth. In fact, I didn't kill them until the end. So I ended up fighting a lot more people than necessary. That being said, the fight is still very doable. Make sure you have a fairly strong pet and plenty of materials for making spears. You'll want to draw the enemies to you behind buildings and the like and take them out as they rush you. When all of the melee are gone, switch to a bow and arrow and start picking off the ranged. Lastly, deal with the horn blowers. The horn blowers really hurt with their attacks, so be careful not to get hit if you can help it.
