For some reason the Garden Terrace location opened for me before the Haymaker Mall. So I travelled their expecting to see a location that I had gotten near, and instead ended up on the roof of the Haymaker Mall facing a legendary alpha deathclaw. Needless to say, i was not prepared. I also ended up going through the Haymaker Mall backwards, and when I got outside the main entrance finally, the hardest fight was definitely the raiders outside that were suddenly surrounding me. It wasn't pretty.
In any case, apart from the deathclaw, there are laser turrets and plenty of raiders. Several of the raiders were legendary for me, as well as the alpha deathclaw, and it wasn't a very easy location for me at all at level 37. In fact, it's one of the biggest challenges I've had so far. It probably would've been easier if I wasn't doing it backwards, but that said I got through it.
If you aren't higher level, I would highly recommend using psycho jet to take down the deathclaw. Psycho jet is amazing for taking down big enemies. It slows down time and amps your damage. That in combination with a shotgun is your best friend. The rest of the raiders I used a shotgun or rifle against. A few outside I used a railway rifle to take down for range and accuracy. They were hitting me pretty hard. To top it all off, I found nothing special to loot. Sad face.
