When shopping for a diamond ring, should you stick to high colors like F or above in order to get a white looking diamond? Or can you get away with a faint yellow K color diamond and save lots of money in the process.
In this video, we look at a side by side comparison of a F vs K diamond engagement ring on my hand. We review both rings under different sets of lighting and environment.
As you will notice, both diamonds sparkle really well and appear white to the eyes. But on closer examination, you might just see a touch of color in the K diamond ring. This faint hue is very subtle and most consumers simply miss it in casual viewing.
However, if you don't mind a K color, the differences in prices can be in the thousands and tens of thousands depending on the carat size you are buying.
