When you think of classy passenger train, what first comes to mind? For many people, it's the classic image of a streamlined diesel locomotive, also known as an F unit! While these are long gone from the mainline, a FEW of these classics live on for railroads business trains, such as CPKC's. Lets chase this train around the Twin Cities, and even see it at night!
We'll chase this classy, and sharp business train, as it makes its way through the Twin Cities. These rare, yet attractive looking, F units make this business train stand out against the modern railroading landscape. The train is first seen rolling through Camden, and over the Mississippi River. After this, we'll see some cool trains along the way, such as former Santa Fe locomotives, and a Union Pacific GP60 throttling up in run 8. To cap things off, we'll see these F units heading back to Canada under the cover of darkness.
