A few times a year, there are military trains that run in through Minnesota to all parts of the country. While most of these start at Camp Ripley, they can go anywhere in the nation for training, deployment, or if equipment needs any sort of overhaul or repair. BNSF Railway moves these trains FAST.
We start off seeing the first train at Newport, MN loaded with a mix of Bradleys, Abrams, Humvees, and MANY other types of equipment. Leading the way were two Union Pacific locomotives with the American Flags on the sides. After Newport, we'll see it flying through Union Jct, and blasting off at 44th in the setting sun. The second train consisted of 50 flats of BRAND NEW JLTV's bound for Camp Ripley. The entire train was a nice uniform sight of brand new equipment.
