For MANY years, the Twin Cities and Western has ran down to Saint Paul to interchange with the Canadian Pacific, now CPKC. Starting in July of 2024, the TC&W started interchanging at Humboldt Yard in North Minneapolis. If this proves to work better, this might replaced STP as their interchange with the CPKC!
Things begin over in NE Mpls, over at Harrison St. Things were unusually busy this morning; trains from the BNSF, Northstar, CPKC, and TCWR were all needing similar tracks. This made what was usually a FAST trip, VERY arduous and slow. Nonetheless, we'll see some neat views of the TC&W as is makes its way to Humboldt Yard.
