ABANDONED UNDERGROUND | Exploring the Abandoned Ghostless Manganese Mine @ABANDONED_UNDERGROUND | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
I head out to another quick trip to explore the haulage level of a manganese mine that reportedly has cobalt deposits as well. This mine is interesting because of the fact that it has been gated, but there is another upper portal that is about 15 feet above and 40 feet beyond the main entrance that is wide open to gain access (I didn't highlight it in the video, but where I said "foreshadowing " is where I dropped down). Getting in is a bit difficult due to having to climb down a short decline and through some timbering, but it's not impossible. Above this mine is a large and deep open cut that most likely connects with this tunnel and there is allegedly another upper level higher up the mountain as well. I started this exploring trip later in the day, so time was of the essence. I will make it back to further explore the upper areas soon!
