Our journey in this video leads us up a winding mountain trail that straddles a cliff with a 500 foot vertical drop to a dry creek bed. This honestly was the most intimidating mountain pass I have driven through yet. The trails are seldomly traveled, as it is quite a rough ride and they are NARROW- allowing for only Jeeps and other mid-sized off road vehicles to navigate them. The views are amazing as the mountain pass takes you from the east side of the mountains to the west, leading up to several abandoned silver, lead, gold, copper, vanadium, and fluorite mines at an elevation of a mile high. We explore a few of the larger underground mines in this two-part series outlining this desert mountain mining area.

Joining us again are Kenny and Todd from the @ZiaMountainAdventures YouTube channel! They're a lot of fun to join up with, and their videos are great as they are artistically edited, along with music that they created themselves! If you are inclined to do so, head over to their channel, check out where they've been and subscribe! The Zia Mountain Adventure Channel is here- youtube.com/c/ZiaMountainAdventures

I'll keep you updated, thanks for watching, and please subscribe!

This video was shot in 4K HDR! If you have a capable HDR display, I highly suggest you watch it in HDR. There is a considerable difference in colors and lighting!
