Aerial views of the massive BNSF Barstow Yard in early 2025. Originally dating back to the late 1880's, the current layout of Barstow yard is from a mid 1970's expansion. With 48 tracks spread over 600 acres, Barstow yard is the second largest yard in the Western United States.
