Two short pieces from the collection “Cent Pièces Brèves Nouvelles” from the composer Eugène Gigout (1844-1925). The first one is warm and quiet with a string registration, the second one a bit more bold with a 16+8+4 registration. Almost all great French composers wrote miniatures for organ. And Gigout was a true master in it. This collections is written for manuals (pedals optional) and a treasure box beyond words.
