A beautiful, reflective piece by composer Tobias Naumann @orgelklang1. For me it has the same “feel” as the short works from Tournemire. And you might know I like Tournemire very much (as well as music from his friend Flor Peeters).

Tobias wrote about this piece:

“Meditation for Organ” was written for a television
service in 2020 during the Corona restrictions.
(However, a different piece of mine was chosen for the
service.)
The original version was manualiter. A version with a
pedal was created in 2020, which was revised in 2024.
The piece can be played with one (or more)
soft 8' stop(s) or Voix celeste.
The tempo should be a quiet Andante.
Agogics and rubato should be avoided.
The piece should be played legato and metrically.
