Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Timbren rear wheel BES brake upgrade kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2021 to 2024 Ram 1500 with the 6.2 liter engine. Now upgrading your suspension can definitely improve the ride quality of your truck, it can help reduce sag during those heavy loads, and it can make the truck feel more stable while you're towing or hauling, but it doesn't reduce the extra workload that are placed on your factory brakes.

And as you know, heat is the enemy of brakes so this Onyx Bond coating has a heat threshold of up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 67% better than the standard Geomet coating most commonly found on OEM parts. This coating also is going to help protect these rotors against rust caused by road spray, moisture and winter driving so it's going to keep your brakes looking cleaner between services without affecting braking performance. And the pads also feature a bed end coating indicated by the blue lines here on the pads. This is going to transfer to the rotor to protect it during the first stop.
So you're going to be able to enjoy that consistent braking performance sooner after installation. Now installation's going to be relatively straightforward.
