Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Timbren Rear Wheel BES Brake Upgrade Kit. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2019 to current Ram 1500 and then your 2021 to 2024 Ram 1500 without the 6.2-liter engine. Now, upgrading the suspension on your truck can definitely improve the ride quality, can help reduce sag, and it can also make your truck feel more stable while you're towing or hauling, but it doesn't reduce the extra workload that's being placed on your factory brakes.

And these are premium G3000 raw iron rotors, and they feature Timbren's OnyxBond matte black coating on the hat, veins, and outer edges. As you know, heat is the enemy of your brakes. So this OnyxBond coating has a heat threshold of up to 932 degrees Fahrenheit, which is 67% better than the standard GEOMET coating that's most commonly used on OEM parts. This coating is also going to help protect these rotors from rust caused by road spray, moisture in winter driving, keeping your brakes looking cleaner between surfaces without affecting braking performance.
These brake pads also feature a bed end coating indicated by the blue lines on the pads. That's gonna transfer to the rotor to protect it during the first stop. So, you're gonna be able to enjoy consistent braking performance sooner after the installation. Installation's gonna be straightforward.
