Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this CURT T-connector vehicle wiring harness with four pole flat trailer connector. Now, this harness has been designed to fit your 2025 to current Kia K4, excluding the GT models, and then your Kia K5. And on custom fit parts such as this harness, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, this custom fit trailer wiring harness is gonna make it very easy to add a trailer connector without cutting or splicing into your vehicle's factory wiring. This is going to plug into your existing wiring once you access the factory harness, which is typically located behind an interior trim panel or under the cargo floor. You may need to remove a few panels or lift some carpeting to reach it, but the installation itself is straightforward using the included quick splice connectors that you see here. Once installed, this is going to give you power for your trailer's brake lights, turn signals, and running lights. And this powered converter is going to draw power directly from your vehicle's battery instead of the factory lighting circuits.
That's gonna help protect your vehicle's electrical system from overload. The wiring is fully insulated to reduce the risk of shorts or electrical interference, while the sealed connections and protective sleeve are going to help protect this from moisture and give it long lasting durability.
