Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Dicor gray butyl tape. Now this butyl tape is designed to give you a reliable weather resistant seal around the roof openings, seams, joints, and other components where water could potentially get in. And because this comes in a continuous roll, you're gonna be able to cut it to length, the specific length that you need at that time, making it very easy to seal long edges and reducing the chances of gaps or missed spots during installation. The flexible material is going to conform well to uneven surfaces, corners, and irregular shapes.
It's gonna, again, create that tight seal even around challenging roof components. Insulation's gonna be pretty straightforward. You're just gonna cut the tape to size, peel away the release liner right here, as you can see, just like that, and apply it to a clean, dry surface. You're gonna get a 30 foot long roll. And the width of the butyl tape is three quarters of an inch and the thickness is about an eighth of an inch and it's gray.
And once installed, the butyl sealant's gonna maintain its adhesion even after prolonged exposure to moisture. So it's going to be well suited for your RV roofs and other outdoor applications. And it's also safe to use on galvanized and coated metals with a non-corrosive formula that's going to help prevent staining, etching or damage to the surface over time. I think it's going to wrap up our look today. Again, my name's Andy.
Thank you for joining me.
