Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Timbren Rear Wheel BES Brake Upgrade Kit. Now this kit has been designed to fit your 2015 to 2017 Ford F-150 with the electronic parking brake. And on custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend going through our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer, pop in the year, make, and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions that it might have for you. And our fit guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now upgrading your suspension on your truck can definitely improve your ride quality, help reduce the sag, and make your truck feel more comfortable, more stable while you're towing or hauling.
But it doesn't reduce the extra workload that's placed on your factory brakes. So if you've ever felt like that your truck is taking longer to stop when you're towing or you have a heavier load or maybe your brakes are wearing out faster than you expected or that added weight is making your braking feel less confident, that's where this BES Brake Upgrade Kit comes in. This kit is designed to give your truck stronger, more consistent braking when it's carrying those heavier loads or towing. Now these do include these low metallic brake pads and they're going to provide a strong initial bite. So you're going to notice more confident stopping power right away.
These multi-layered rubber shims are going to help keep brake noise to a minimum without sacrificing braking performance. And as you can see there, I'd have a photo of an example of one of the shims there actually taken apart just to kind of give you the detail there and showing you what's all involved there with the construction of that shim. And then you see the pad itself there on the other side of the screen as well. So those multi-layered rubber shims are going to help keep that squeaking to a minimum and the positive molded pads paired with these precision balance rotors are going to promote smooth, even braking and more consistent pedal feel. And that coating is going to help protect them from rust that can be caused by road spray, moisture, and just winter driving, keeping your brakes looking cleaner between services without affecting braking performance. Now the pads and the rotors also feature a braking coating and finish that's going to help speed up the bedding in process.
